DESCRIPTION
SOUR RR is an effective neutralizing sour product that has exceptional rust removing capability.
Product has direct application where final pH of linen is required below the range found in the raw water used for rinse and where rust or iron matter is prevalent in same.
APPLICATION
SOUR RR is used in the range of 1-2 ounces per 50 pounds of wash, depending on the pH range and iron concentrations existent.
Care should be used so as to maintain a pH on the linen of between 5.5 to 6.5 depending on the classification and finishing procedures.
Gross overfeeding of product is not recommended due to its acid nature and the potential damage to fiber that could occur in this manner.
HANDLING
SOUR RR is an acid, commonly used for souring and rust removing applications,
Extreme care should be used in its handling. Product can cause skin and eye irritation upon contact, and if this occurs, area should be rinsed for 15 minutes with water or a solution of bicarbonate of soda.
